  1. Cook the ramen noodles according to the package instructions and set aside.
  2. In a large pot, combine the broth, soy sauce, sake or rice wine, garlic, ginger, and miso paste.
  3. Stir the mixture and bring to a boil over medium heat.

  5. In a small bowl, mix the cornstarch and 3 tablespoons of water to form a slurry.
