  • 1 block of firm tofu
  • 2 cloves of garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons of soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon of rice vinegar
  • 2 teaspoons of sesame oil
  • 2 teaspoons of grated ginger
  • 1 teaspoon of sugar

Peanut Sauce:

  • 1/2 cup of peanut butter
  • 1/4 cup of soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons of lime juice
  • 2 tablespoons of brown sugar
  • 2 cloves of garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon of grated ginger
  • 1/4 teaspoon of cayenne pepper
  • 1/4 cup of water

  1. Drain the tofu and press it to remove any excess water. Cut the tofu into 1/2 inch slices.
  2. In a shallow dish, combine the minced garlic, soy sauce, rice vinegar, sesame oil, grated ginger, sugar, and red pepper flakes. Add the tofu slices and marinate for at least 30 minutes.

  4. Preheat the grill to medium-high heat. Grill the tofu slices for 3-4 minutes per side, or until grill marks appear.
  5. Serve the grilled tofu with the peanut sauce on the side.
